Based in Madrid, Flórez Films is a production company specialized in creative documentary filmmaking. We count with 15 years of experience and focus specifically in projects with potential for international co-productions, besides the close collaboration of selected experts. Guillermo F. Flórez: Spanish filmmaker, he has been making documentaries since 2007 in countries like Spain, Netherlands, France, India, Indonesia, Cuba or USA. In the last few years he taught Cinema in New York, directed documentaries in Spain, worked as journalist in Africa or as expert for the European Commission, and produced documentary series for online platforms.
Guillermo owns Law degrees by the Complutense University of Madrid and the Sorbonne University of Paris. He has been awarded the Ruy de Clavijo Fellowship from Casa Asia, and the La Caixa Foundation Fellowship. He also owns a MFA on Social Documentary by the School of Visual Arts of New York, and is an IDFAcademy fellow. Some of his films have been selected at international film festivals and aired by main broadcasters.
